Connie Hicks

Connie has been on staff since 1984. She is the mother of two and grandmother of five (four of which are alumni of  our school!). She has an AA from Frederick Community College and a BA in Christian Education from Kingswood University, Sussex, NB, Canada.  Connie has tutored and held volunteer positions, but her entire educational career has been devoted to DCPM.  She is trained in CPR, First Aid, Administration of Medication and has completed a variety of continuing education classes.

Lead Teacher for Pre-K 5 Day

Lynn Herbert

Lynn has been on staff since 2007.  She is the mother of a son and daughter who are alumni of our school. She holds a BA in Elementary Education from Catholic University of America and an MA in Infant and Early Childhood Special Education from George Washington University.  Lynn has a variety of classroom experience and has worked as a tutor.  She is trained in CPR, First Aid, Administration of Medication and has completed a variety of continuing education classes.

Lead Teacher for Introduction to Preschool

Dawn Watkins

Dawn has been on staff since 2013. She is the mother of two sons who are alumni of our school. She has a BS in General Agriculture and minor in Education from the University of MD.  Dawn taught for five years prior to having her children and has held a variety of volunteer positions. She is trained in CPR and First Aid.

Eileen Deist

Eileen has been part of the DCPM family for many years, as her four children are alumni of the school. She has volunteered and served as our primary substitute prior to joining us on our regular staff in 2017. She is trained in CPR and First Aid.

Administrative Assistant

Robin Nicholson

Robin has been on staff since 1985. She is the mother of a son who is an alumni, and grandmother of two. She has many hours volunteer experience as PTA president of Damascus Elementary School, Boys Scouts, and travels often with her church mission teams. Robin is certified in CPR, First Aid, Administration of Medication and has training as an Emergency First Responder, in addition to completing a variety of continuing education classes.

Karen Dolly

Karen has been on staff since 1991.  She is the mother of three daughters, who are alumni of our school, and a grandmother of one. Karen is also responsible for the beautiful bulletin boards and hallway decorations  She has classroom experience with MCPS and is trained in CPR, First Aid, Administration of Medication and has completed a variety of continuing education classes.

Kathy McDonald

Kathy has been part of the DCPM family for several years, as her only son attended school with us. She has volunteered countless hours and served as PTA president in her son's school. She has also been our primary substitute teacher and we are happy to have her on staff as our Intro to Preschool Assistant Teacher.
